Pedal Power, Canberra by Bike and Walk Cycle Lyneham have teamed up to host this fun, family friendly bike ride before Light Up Lyneham.  The ride will start near the Lyneham Primary School, near the water tank behind the school hall, and go around the wetlands, finishing near the Lyneham Shops.  There will be a short safety briefing before the ride begins.  This is a family friendly ride and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Route map below:  For more information please email contact@lyneham.org.au or Walk.Cycle.Lyneham@gmail.com

The ACT 2023-24 Budget is being handed down on the 27th June, 2023. The budget is a key moment for active travel every year, as the Government outlines its spending priorities. At this forum you can hear about what’s included (and excluded) for cycling and active travel more broadly. We'll also provide an update on our campaign pushing the Government to build and maintain cycling infrastructure in Canberra, including ways you can get involved. This event is being hosted online. The campaign team has been working hard behind the scenes planning out a campaign to call on the ACT Government to build and maintain Canberra’s cycling network. We are aiming to launch the campaign in June. We'd love to share this campaign with you on Thursday 8 June from 12pm-1pm.
